Buenas Tardes mis seres queridos!!!!!!!!!
Time is flying! My new ward is called Chichen Itza, (very far from the ruins) but there is a cool park with a couple teeny ruins in there. Its a pretty cool area and there is lots of work to do!
We have a baptism this week! Her name is Lizet, she is super excited for her baptism. She has a lot of cousins and uncles that are members of the church and I think the church is going to be full this saturday! She has made a lot of changes in her life and she already has so much light! We took her to the temple to have a little lesson in the waiting room and it was super awesome. We ran into one of her uncles there on the temple grounds and she was so happy and they started crying and hugged eachother. She showed us how she gave away all her immodest clothes and got a bunch of modest clothes! haha she is way awesome.
This Sunday was pretty cool! The ward secretary asked me to give a talk right before sacrament meeting started. You cant exactly say no, so you just have to pray and wing it. It was about service.
A lot of investigators came to church! It was so great! And then we walked home with some of them all in a little group because they live kind of close together. We ate lunch with a recent convert Mishel, who is planning on going on a mission!
The investigators here are really awesome and we are trying to focus on them and get the members to help us so that they can all be baptized, and have a true conversion!
One of the Mexico Area 70s, Elder Valenzuela, came to our mission and talked to us about being full-purpose missionaries and focusing on all of the work of salvation, teaching, baptizing, retention, reactivation, and temple and family history work. Sometimes we focus a lot of baptism but every part is really important! Hermana Lee is also in my zone again! So it is super fun to see her every week! She has grown a ton! Her Spanish is almost perfect and she is a really awesome missionary :)
I love being a missionary! It is such a beautiful calling. It can be a little overwhelming sometimes, but with if we are obedient, and diligent, if we put our part, we will see miracles!
I love you tons! Have a wonderful week!
Hermana Stacie Fleischer
